Project Intro:

The catalogue holds centuries of scientific writing, but its structure was invisible to a first-time reader. The work began with the catalogue itself: categories, dynasties, scholars. An editorial identity and a restrained type system give the collection a way in, with bilingual typography that treats the source material as the object of value.
